The Registry of Inhabitants
An incomplete and occasionally disputed record of those residing within Mossboggia.

Pickles
Amphibian Status: Pending
Pickles is a small, green stegosaurus who lives near Stillwater Pond and is absolutely certain that he is a frog.
He enjoys puddles, lily pads, and spending long afternoons beside the water. He has never successfully croaked, although he remains optimistic.
Unfortunately, Gerald and the Department of Amphibian Identification have repeatedly rejected his applications for official frog status, citing several anatomical irregularities, including his plates, his tail, and his complete lack of amphibian ancestry.
Pickles considers these objections unnecessarily technical.
Official registry note: Species classification remains under appeal. Applicant has requested a larger lily pad.
Gerald
Official Position: Self-Appointed Authority on Amphibian Affairs
Gerald is a distinguished frog of considerable importance, particularly in his own estimation.
A firm believer in rules, regulations, and proper amphibian conduct, Gerald takes his responsibilities very seriously. He is rarely seen without his moss-covered crown, which he considers an essential symbol of authority, although nobody seems entirely certain who appointed him.
Gerald is especially concerned about maintaining the integrity of amphibian classification. His ongoing disagreement with Pickles, a small stegosaurus who insists he is a frog, has resulted in numerous hearings, rejected applications, and at least one emergency committee meeting.
Despite his pompous manner, Gerald genuinely cares about Mossboggia and its inhabitants. He simply believes everything would run much more smoothly if everyone followed the rules.
Preferably his rules.
Official registry note: Gerald’s authority is widely acknowledged by Gerald.

Clementine
Official Position: Chief Correspondent, Mossboggia News Service
Clementine is Mossboggia’s most enthusiastic journalist, fastest-moving gossip collector, and least reliable source of verified information.
With four shimmering wings, enormous curiosity, and an extraordinary ability to be in several places before anyone realizes something has happened, Clementine considers herself the eyes and ears of the entire civilization.
Unfortunately, she has a tendency to report events before they occur, misunderstand eyewitness accounts, and occasionally mistake ordinary weather conditions for major political developments.
Her reporting has included an alleged mushroom uprising, a suspiciously organized gathering of tadpoles, and a breaking-news announcement concerning the disappearance of a leaf that had, in fact, simply blown away.
Despite her questionable accuracy, Clementine genuinely loves Mossboggia and believes its inhabitants deserve to know everything happening around them.
Preferably immediately.
And preferably before anyone else.
Official registry note: Information provided by Clementine should be independently verified. Clementine disputes the necessity of this requirement.
